Romanian Strawberry Mousse- "Spuma de Capsuni"
2 egg whites
2/3 cup of sugar
full cups strawberries- cut into small pieces
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
- In a tall mixing bowl, combine egg whites and sugar and beat with a mixer for about 8-10 minutes.
- Add in the strawberries and lemon juice and beat for another 8-10 minutes, or until it forms soft peaks.
- Put in small dessert/serving cups and decorate with a strawberry on top of each one.
- This can be served immediately, however it is recommended to be put it in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours and served cold. You can also put it in the freezer to make it more like an ice cream.
